McRoskey San Francisco Announces Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration

San Rafael, California. McRoskey San Francisco announced today that they will be partnering with the San Rafael Chamber to officially commemorate the grand opening of their newest brick and mortar retail location. The celebration is set for May 22nd, 2018 at 5pm at the San Rafael showroom.
San Rafael Mayor Gary O. Phillips, local business leaders and dignitaries are scheduled to attend. McRoskey San Francisco is pleased to officially become a part of Marin business community, “We opened this store as a pop up concept in November last year, and the welcome from the community has been so overwhelming, that we’ve decided to make the store permanent. We couldn’t be happier to be in San Rafael and better serve our customers in Marin and the North Bay,” said Jill Bibo, VP of Sales for McRoskey.
The San Rafael showroom, at 1340 Fourth Street just east of D Street, is located in a building dating back to the early 1880s. On display are all the renowned McRoskey bed comforts, as well as pillows, blankets and duvets. Showroom hours are Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm and Sunday, noon to 5pm.
Founded by the McRoskey brothers in 1899, the company continues to traditionally craft mattresses and box springs in the city of San Francisco. McRoskey customer records on file date back to 1921, and include generations of local families, many of whom now live in the North Bay. Today, the company is owned by Robin McRoskey Azevedo, a 3rd generation family member. The San Rafael Chamber is celebrating its 98th anniversary in 2018 and represents nearly 600 members with over 26,000 employees. The San Rafael Chamber of Commerce is a member- based business advocacy organization providing a strong voice in support of the economic vitality of our community.
